WELCOME to our web-based e-training platform for human motion analysis
Our project entitled “A Web-based E-Training Platform for Extended Human Motion Investigation in Orthopedics” addresses equally medical and engineering training needs, proposing formation of specialists that will apply the principles of medical and biomedical engineering sciences in order to improve the patients’ condition.
This Leonardo da Vinci project (ToI) develops an e-learning platform that offers to orthopedic doctors and engineers interested in the medical field, a common learning tool, with interdisciplinary approaches, trying to close the gap between engineering and medicine, by creating a new e-learning environment for human motion analysis.
The on-line course includes 4 modules and has duration of 10 weeks (see Curricula at Results menu). The estimated required study time is mentioned below:
• Module 1 – Physics of the human body – 2 weeks
• Module 2 – Basic anatomy of human body – 3 weeks
• Module 3 – Modern techniques in human motion analysis (with case studies) - 2 weeks
• Module 4 (assessment) – Case studies – 3 weeks
If you want to follow our on-line course for human motion analysis please pre-register on this website (Registration menu). The course is free of charge and the trainees need to have Bachelor Diploma in Medical, Engineering, Physics or related domains. You can select the course corresponding to your training (health professional or engineer).
The pre-registration is continuous but the period of training will be established by partners of this project. The first period of training will be September-November 2013. After you will pre-register you will receive more information and User Guide regarding the training procedure.
The access of our e-learning platform is done via menu E-learning Center of this website.
We are happy to train you in Human Motion Analysis!
